We had been looking to replace our current CRM tool and Inventory Management System for the last year. We met with various suppliers that promised their systems were the best and were able to handle our concerns. We visited dealers that were using different systems to evaluate the real world effectiveness, and kept coming up with the same conclusions. Many dealers were only using part of the operating systems because they were too cumbersome to use and didn’t fit with a dealership flow. We then found ONE-EIGHTY, which delivered.
Our Inventory integration from the manufacturer versus our current in-stock or incoming vehicle system was never synchronized, until now. Sold, held or quoted on vehicles were traded away or double sold. Now we can manage a vehicle order right from the day it was entered to the manufacturer, check the quotes or hits on that vehicle and cross reference our ordered inventory to see if vehicles mysteriously disappeared or our inventory was added to. This has helped us manage our inventory properly and has allowed us to sell more of our stock by seeing future pipelines of vehicles and matching clients with vehicles on hand.
Finance and lease rates and residuals are updated as soon as the manufacturer releases them, as well as revisions to programs. The rates and residuals are also calculated specific to demo vehicles, pre-owned with manufacturer programs or used retail other, so there is never any rate quote accuracy issues.
Funding and documentation has always been an issue. Knowing what can be residualized on leases and what cannot, is the rate correct, is the residual correct, are the lien taxes calculated accordingly, is the cap cost within funding guidelines. With ONE-EIGHTY these are non-issues. Everything is prompted for you, so you don’t have to have this unwritten log to remember what to do each time.
ONE-EIGHTY has given us the ability and ease to properly monitor sales department’s activities. Delivery schedule, client follow up, daily business planning, solicitation and up to the minute sales department lead tracking are all available at a click of a button. The ease of implementation and training was exceptional as well as the product support staff which are always there to answer a question. No waiting for returned phone calls. Veteran staff can be an issue when it comes to change. The ease of the system tools encouraged the staff to embrace it immediately with resounding results.
We at Volkswagen Richmond hill cannot recommend ONE-EIGHTY highly enough; we wished we had made the change sooner. It’s great to have a system that’s professional in all aspects and that fits our business flow, versus a system that controlled the way we did business!
